omg that is so annoyin to do an reli hard to explain thru writing it out

the best thing you can do is look it up on the web

hope it helps you =] Could any guide me through setting up port forwarding from Uni laptop, to home Router?
Its not possible to setup port forwarding from uni laptop even if you have a router at home - you have been misinformed

If your uni has already restricted lots of sites then they will certainly have a policy of blocking port forwarding. I assume you need this for torrent downloads or online gaming at university. Not only would this pose an unacceptable security risk it would also consume unacceptable bandwidth. So you are wasting your time trying to set up portforwarding from uni

For home use with your XP machine there is no problem go http://www.portforward.com
Try http://www.portforward.com

That site really help me on setting up port forwarding.
