Setting up shared printer?

I have a lexmark X75 printer hooked up to my desktop running XP. I have a D-link DIR-625 router, and a laptop running vista. My question is, can I print things from my laptop through the router, to the Lexmark? And if so, How can i set this up??

P.S. i already have a network setup in my home, with file and printer sharing on, I just need to know how to setup the printer to print from my laptop through the network/routerSetting up shared printer?
1. On the computer that the printer is manually attached to. Go to Printers and Fax under the start menu.

2. Right click the printer you are trying to share and go to properties.

3. Go to the Sharing tab and check share this printer and check the box that says list in directory. Click ok to exit out.

4. Go to your laptop and back to the printer and fax menu. At the top left you will see a button to add a printer click that.

5. When the Wizard pops up select next. Then select a network printer. Select Next.

6. Then search the entire directory by selecting Find now and your printer should pop up. Once it does select it and hit ok to exit.
