i had 2 friends buy this exact laptop in Jan %26amp; July. you can get a faster hard drive, faster processor, 2 gigs of ram. i've fixed them both a few times cuz they're chicks who use 'em and mess 'em up occasionally and the processor is about as fast as a 3.0ghz P4

not much to do with a laptop, but with vista on it you'll definitely need more ram which is easy to upgrade. And just clean up the laptop. Virus scan, delete some junk, change startup to a few stuff.
