How do I set up a folder that I can access from two different computers?

I have two computers, both Vista, neither on a network, but both (obviously) with internet access. One is my desktop at work, and the other is a laptop I use to work from home sometimes. I have files that I need to access on both computers, but I want it so that if I update one, the other gets updated too. Is this possible without setting up a network? How do I set up a folder that I can access from two different computers?
Save it in a USB drive. How do I set up a folder that I can access from two different computers?
You can use team viewer software to access the remote computer. Just install the software in both computer and it will ask the id and password then enter the id and password. but You need fast internet connection to use this software and you can access another computer anywhere in the world.

The easiest way to do this is to use an MSN sharing folder and anything you add to there it uploads and then when you sign onto your other computer it will update it and i think you may be able to use the same msn account from 2 different compters but if not it isnt hard to sign up for a seccond account
sign up for google docs or just simply save it.
