How to (or online guides) set up a network to print from another computer.?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with something. I would like to set up a home network (I think that is what it is called %26gt;.%26gt;) so that I can use the printer I have on one computer from my computer upstairs, or the other computer in the next room. I have a total of three computers, One is Windows Vista (home premium) and the other two computers are XP. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me set something like this up, or if there are guides online I can look at to set it up. The printer is connected to the vista OS. I also have one last question before I post this, and it is (hopefully) related to the subject. If I can set up my printer to work on multiple computers, can I also share folders (i.e. music, movies, photos, documents, etc.)? And if so, is setup similar? Anyways, could anyone post some online guides or setups, or if it is simple, please explain to me here? Thanks in advance, I hope I worded everything right so it isn't too confusing. If it is, I apologize! How to (or online guides) set up a network to print from another computer.?

Be sure you can see other pcs and can browse their Shared documents.

1. First, enable file and printer sharing. Login as an administrator. Click Start --%26gt; Printers and Faxes

2. Right click on the printer you want to share

3. Click sharing. This might ask you if you want to enable file/printer sharing. Select Yes

4. On the other pc, right click the My Network Places and Search for the computer name where your printer is installed.

5. Browse it until you see everything that is shared there.

6. Double click the printer icon that is shared and follow the on screen instruction.

that's it
