How do a set up a network between two computers with bthomehub?

I have a laptop running vista and a pc running xp i want to transfer data easily via a network i have a bt home hub and only the laptop is wireless. please help!How do a set up a network between two computers with bthomehub?
I would buy a usb wireless dongle for the pc, I have two and they work very well.

If you are having trouble connecting your bt home hub to an old computer that has a different ISP (Internet Service Provider) and you have an ethernet card in the back of your computer, (if you do not have one you can get one from most retailers such as Pc World, etc) you will have to click tools in Internet Explorer and click on Internet Options and then click on the tab saying Connections and then click on LAN Settings and a new window will open up, this screen will have 2 sections to it both sections have check boxes in and then you have to untick all of the check boxes and then restart the computer.
